Follow on Google News | Cherry Bomb Charmers’ Blockers Turn Rockers In ‘Unsocialized’Unsocialized will perform at halftime during “ShamRock n’ Roll”, a junior roller derby bout between the Cherry Bomb Charmers and the Ocala Carnivores on March 22nd.
Unsocialized is a homeschool band from the greater Jacksonville area with members ranging from 12 to 15 years old. Many members are classically trained musicians who came together to experience a genre dramatically different from their formal training. The musicians comprising Unsocialized are: Alexandra Haines-Lombardi (CBC’s Spaztik McQuad #7), Colin Harden, Teddy Louckes, Ian McConnell, Maaseal Outley, and Susanna Nelson (CBC’s Pink Panther #20). Unsocialized’ The junior roller derby bout will be held at the Skate Station Funworks located at 230 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Florida, at 6:00pm on Sunday, March 22nd. Rink doors will open at 5:30pm for the bout. Admission for the event is $5 at the door. Active duty military and children ages 10 and under are admitted free. “We’re always proud to showcase the many talents of our skaters and to see them excel in different arenas,” said Charmers General Manager Dana Wolfe, “We can’t wait to hear Unsocialized crank it up in our home rink.” The Cherry Bomb Charmers are a 501(c)3 nonprofit junior roller derby team and are based in Orange Park, Florida.
