ACTE announce Multiband MIMO antenna for outdoor LTE and 3G installations

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - March 9, 2015 - PRLog -- The innovative LTE multiband MIMO antenna – LMO7270 from EAD, incorporates the 4G, 3G and GPRS global frequencies and the MIMO (Multiple In, Multiple Out) capability, maximising the best chance of achieving published bandwidth data speeds over LTE / 3G networks.

MIMO, one of the latest technologies used for multiplying the capacity of the radio link using multiple receive and transmit antennas, exploits multi-path propagation. It is considered essential on 4G/LTE and HSPA+ 3G data links to ensure high data speeds. Many high speed cellular modules and sub systems now offer this feature.

Housed in a durable radome and designed for outdoor use, the LMO7270 antenna is wall or pole mounted, measuring 187mm height and 106mm at the base. It can be supplied with or without a wall/pole mount bracket and is fed by two 10cm pigtail cables with SMA plug connectors. 5 metre or 10 metre low loss cable options are available on request.

In addition to the wall/pole mounting option, the LMO7270 MIMO antenna is supplied with a gasket and moulded nut as standard. This allows the antenna to be installed as a permanent, through hole mount solution, to be mounted onto a non metallic surface or enclosure.

LMO7270 supports the 4G, LTE, 3G and GPRS frequencies 700, 800, 900 MHz and 1.8, 1.9, 2.1 and 2.6GHz.
