Austin Tidbits Acquires Austin Beauty Week

AUSTIN, Texas - March 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Austin Tidbits (http://gotidbits.com/austin) has acquired Austin Beauty Week (http://austinbeautyweek.com/), a twice-annual initiative that celebrates beauty and wellness in Austin. As part of the transaction, Tidbits Media Group also acquired Austin Beauty Guide (http://austinbeautyguide.com/), an online directory of local businesses that provide beauty, wellness and fitness services, with ratings and reviews.

Meredith Davis (http://msmeredithdavis.com/), who founded Austin Beauty Week and Austin Beauty Guide in 2011, now serves as Tidbits Media Group’s Executive Vice President. In this role, Davis, a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, will manage the expansion of Beauty Week and Beauty Guide to Tidbits’ 11 metropolitan markets, beginning with Houston in March 2015.

Austin Beauty Week and Houston Beauty Week offer a seven-day line-up of beauty events, specials and promotions at local salons, spas, med spas and exercise studios. Members of the public can schedule special experiences and discounted rates on fitness, juicing, hair care and hair removal, eyelash extensions, makeup and cosmetics, massage, facials, acupuncture, alternative medicine, tanning, nail care, body contouring, dental care and more.

Austin Beauty Week will take place March 22-29, kicking off with a Beauty Brunch on March 22 featuring mimosas, a pop-up yoga class and interactive beauty treatments and demos.

Houston Beauty Week will take place March 24-31.
