NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - March 6, 2015 - PRLog -- North Miami Beach, Fla. - The J's Cultural Arts Theatre continues its eighth season with Jason Odell Williams' Handle With Care, directed by Michael Andron. Circumstances both hilarious and tragic bring together a young Israeli woman, who has little command of English, and a young American man, who has little command of romance. Is their inevitable love an accident, or is it destiny, generations in the making? According to Andron, it was destiny that J-CAT happened upon this stage gem.

"We met Jason when we brought the kids up to Manhattan for a theatre workshop that his wife, Charlotte Cohn, facilitated," Andron said. Cohn, singer, actor and commander in the Israeli army, was immediately beloved by the kids, according to Andron.

"Jason agreed that we could stage the show for the first time anywhere."

Four of the founding J-CAT alumni performed the show in 2008, including Arielle Tamir, who included her own Hebrew translations in the performance, which are almost identical to today's script.

Three of those actors, Tamir, Josh Feigenbaum and David Khabinsky, return to the J-CAT stage to star in the March production of Handle With Care. The cast has been rehearsing in New York, as they all currently live in the Northeast, and is excited to return home to the theatre that raised them. "This time instead of teens playing 20 somethings," Andron said, "the cast will actually be the ages they are supposed to be in the play."

The off-Broadway run, starring Cohn and Carol Lawrence, closed to rave reviews for the Emmy-nominated playwright's brilliant romantic comedy. The J-CAT production is presented by the generous support of the Israeli American Council - IAC, as part of the World Zionist Organization's Hebrew Celebration Week.

Handle With Care will run as a limited engagement for one weekend only: March 19th (SOLD OUT), Saturday, March 21st at 10 pm, andSunday, March 22nd at 2 pm and 7 pm, 18900 NE 25th Avenue, North Miami Beach, FL 33180.
