Would you like to be a character in a book?

EASTBOURNE, U.K. - March 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Have you ever wanted to appear in a novel?  See your name there as one of the characters?

Now you can take part as In Search of Spice is encouraging sponsors.  Historical fiction, it details the first exploratory trip of a carrack searching for trade opportunities from the fictional country of Harrhein.  Patrons find their name listed amongst the nobility at the start of the book.  Or you could be a sailor or soldier on the ship, indeed one of the pirates that attack them and become part of the crew.

You may sponsor to a larger extent and have your character play a larger role, which might be advisable as otherwise you could be killed off during one of the many different attacks on the ship, although most people are peaceable.  The trouble is there is political turmoil at home, and the Princess has escaped assassination by coming aboard in disguise.  But there may be spies on board... could she 'fall' from the rigging?  Lots of accidents can happen on a sailing ship.
