Olimpia Zuccarelli announces her candidacy for Palm Beach County 2015 LLS Woman of the Year!

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - March 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Olimpia Zuccarelli has been selected as a candidate for the Palm Beach County 2015 Leukemia and Lymphoma Woman of the Year!

This exciting ten-week competition campaign enlists select citizens from various communities across the U.S.  Each participant will fundraise while generating awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  The titles are awarded to the man and woman in each community who raises the most funds.

Olimpia Zuccarelli is an extraordinary pillar of the Palm Beach County Community.  She is the owner of her family business, Zuccarelli’s Italian Restaurant & Bar, an Italian eatery favorite in West Palm Beach for the past thirty-four years.  She is also the renowned author of her newly published cookbook, A Chair at My Table.  Olimpia is caring and supportive to respond to the numerous, charitable requests presented to her consistently.

“It is a sincere honor to have been selected as an entry in this year’s Leukemia and Lymphoma Woman of the Year event.  I am quick to respond to the needs of the community my family and I have served for over three decades.  Our customers quickly become our friends, and our friends soon become our family.  Unfortunately, many of them are among those stricken with cancer and I am delighted to have this opportunity through this platform to provide support to such a fantastic organization,” says Olimpia.

Campaign winners will be announced on Friday, April 24^th at the Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place.
