Pittsburgh Craft Beer Network Launches PCBN Mobile

New smartphone and tablet application lets users connect to daily craft beer events in Pittsburgh, as well as exclusive coupons and access to PCBN's social media sites, podcast, and blog.

PITTSBURGH - March 5, 2015 - PRLog -- The Pittsburgh Craft Beer Network, a resource designed to raise craft beer awareness and help enthusiasts stay connected to all things craft beer in the Pittsburgh region, has released a smartphone and tablet application known as PCBN Mobile. This free application, available in the Google Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for Apple devices, introduces a new way for bars & restaurants, breweries, bottle shops, and more to promote their events and their businesses overall.

"The PCBN Mobile app is the first of its kind here in Pittsburgh and presents a revolutionary way to keep craft beer enthusiasts informed," Jason Cercone, Pittsburgh Craft Beer Network founder, stated. "Everyone will have access to the local craft beer scene right at their fingertips."

The PCBN Mobile application features access to a daily events calendar that lists special events, beer dinners, happy hours, live music, food trucks at various local breweries, and more. In addition, users also have access to exclusive coupons provided by PCBN sponsors, as well as access to PCBN's social media networks, PCBN blog, and PCBN podcast. You can also leave a Yelp review for an establishment you visit to better help others discover all the great places Pittsburgh has to offer.

"The craft beer landscape in Pittsburgh is evolving every day, and there's a lot going on," Cercone continued. "PCBN Mobile is designed to keep all these great events organized so new and experienced craft beer enthusiasts can find something happening at their favorite destination, or something in their own neighborhood."

The Pittsburgh Craft Beer Network was launched in December 2014 with a mission to provide a unified platform for all purveyors of craft beer, wine, whiskey, rum, mead, cider, and more to promote the great things they are holding. Pittsburgh has quickly become a hotbed for craft beer and other adult beverages, and Cercone believes the more voices of advocacy for these entities, the better.

"We are living in exciting times," Cercone concluded. "There's been a major paradigm shift in what people are drinking and Pittsburgh has truly been at the forefront of this shift. I love how so many people have gotten behind the craft beer movement and I'm happy to put this app out there to help keep everyone in the loop as to what's happening."

The PCBN Mobile App is free to download. Learn more about it and discover how to download it to your smartphone or tablet by visiting http://pghcbn.com/pcbn-mobile-is-live/
