Scandinavian start-up launches free app to make all your recipes mobile

MELBOURNE, Australia - March 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Scandinavian app startup Cromian today launched FooDoo, the first fully-mobile recipe app to offer the user a simple and intuitive way to cook blog recipes, designed to benefit both bloggers and users. FooDoo is now available for free on the App Store and Google Play Store.

Cooking has always been an integral part of human life. From preparing an elaborate dinner party to quickly throwing something together for hungry children, most of us have had a cooking experience of some sort. Of course it is often the first question of cooking which is the most difficult to answer: what do I cook tonight? This question is an opportunity for us to explore new recipes and develop our cooking repertoire. However, instead of taking advantage of this opportunity, most of us cannot find an answer to this question and instead revert back to our cooking comfort zone.

The solution? FooDoo, the first fully-mobile recipe app to offer you a simple and intuitive way to decide what to cook, prepare your ingredients and make the meal of your choice. Created by the Scandinavian start-up Cromian, FooDoo was designed to be your one-stop-shop for all things cooking. Besides providing you with meal ideas, FooDoo also allows you to store your favourite recipes. “Whether it’s your grandma’s old recipes or those from your favourite magazine or blog site, with FooDoo you can collect them all into your own mobile cookbook.” says Kristoffer Nielsen, CEO.

What really makes FooDoo unique is that it provides a service to both its users and the blogs that feature their recipes on the app. Unlike other apps that ‘clip’ online recipes, FooDoo functions to increase the exposure and internet traffic of the blogs themselves. Not only does FooDoo serve users that want to find a recipe but it also acts as a tool for online bloggers who are wanting to reach a greater viewer audience. “Bloggers that feature their recipes on FooDoo give users an extra avenue to discover their blog. It is as much a tool for bloggers as it is for the apps users.” explains Cameron Rowick, Australian Account Manager.

FooDoo is available for free, with no in-app purchases, on both the App Store and Google Play Store. Any bloggers that are interested in having their recipes featured should get in touch with Cromian via their website (https://www.cromian.com).

About the app:

FooDoo is a free tool to make all your recipes mobile. We are unique in being completely mobile and completely free, without in-app purchases or paid-for features.

FooDoo was released on the App Store on the 27th of February and on the Google Play Store on the 6th of March.

Users can keep recipes taken from all over the web, or magazines and books organised in one place. But unlike other apps, FooDoo does not ‘clip’ online recipes.

This means users still get easy, instant access to recipes, but the creator of the recipe still receives full credit for their work, and traffic to their site.
