Cambridge Classics alumna joins Danish startup app company

March 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Kat Nunn spent three years living in a Victorian college, learning Latin and Ancient Greek and using words like ‘Plodge’ and ‘DoS’ in casual conversation*. But after graduation she turned her life upside down, moving to Copenhagen to join a Danish app startup.

The small team are currently working on a new free recipe app called FooDoo, designed to make all your recipes mobile.

‘It felt crazy’ said Kat, ‘booking a one-way flight and packing my life into two suitcases. But it was my chance to get into the app industry, and I loved the idea behind FooDoo.’

‘I love cooking, but at uni I just got stuck in a rut making the same thing for dinner each week. And when I did find new ideas, they were all in different places, on different websites, or just hand-written notes from my mum.’

FooDoo is for anyone who’s after a new way of collecting, using and sharing recipes, all in one app.

The app is set to launch internationally for Android and iOS on March 6th in English and Danish (sadly not available in Latin or Ancient Greek...yet).

The FooDoo team are also on the lookout for UK recipe bloggers who would like to share their recipes with new readers and app users worldwide. If you’re interested, you can contact the team through their website (www.cromian.com).
