LAS VEGAS - March 5, 2015 - PRLog -- MUHSIN CORBBREY ISSUES THREAT TO THE ENTIRE UFC© FEATHER-WEIGHT ROSTER

In most instances when a mixed martial arts fighter threatens to beat up a rival athlete the threat can be shrugged off as empty talk or pre-event hype

But when the threat comes from a seasoned professional boxer who just happens to hold a black belt in judo, gold medals in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, regional, U.S. and International mixed martial arts championship titles from different organizations, we need to pay attention

In a recent interview with sport journalist Tafari Arbanya, world title champion MMA fighter, Muhsin Corbbrey blasted the every name on the UFC featherweight roster. In a matter of fact tone, Corbbrey elaborated,

“Compare my fight career accomplishments to anybody in the entire UFC organization and you’ll notice something very interesting.

There’s only a small group of athletes who like me, already had legitimate National and International MMA, grappling or kickboxing championship titles to their credit when they first got signed to the UFC. I am among those few. This is why I deserve a UFC fighter’s contract.”

Most professional sports organizations have qualification criteria that an athlete must meet in order to compete at the highest levels. This is not yet the case with mixed martial arts in North America. Organizations have yet to sort out issues of this nature.

Corbbrey highlighted that some athletes on the UFC roster have less than ten pro fights and others less than six. Somehow, they landed a UFC contract, now they’re are considered the best martial artists in the world.

“My time has come. Over the last 17 years I fought and beat some of the best mixed martial arts fighters on the planet. I hold US National and International gold medals and championship titles with 5 different organizations. There's no question that, I earned the right to compete in the UFC. I’m very eager to sign a contract. Once I get it, look out! I’m going to destroy anyone standing in my way of UFC featherweight title.”

Muhsin Corbbrey has been involved in mixed martial arts since childhood. He started off in Taekwondo and later cross-trained extensively in Boxing, Japanese and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Judo and Muay Thai. He’s competed at the highest level in each individual sport.

Corbbrey is the only professional boxer and judo black belt in history to win multiple US National and International championship titles in mixed martial arts (MMA), submission grappling and Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu. His next mission...win the UFC 'feather-weight' championship title at 145 pounds.

Muhsin Corbbrey has fought top talent from every reputable MMA organization; the UFC©, EliteXC, International Sport Combat Federation (ISCF), WEC©, Champions Quest Fighting Challenge, Reality Superfighting (where Corbbrey is ranked among the top #2 in the light weight division), and ESPN Martial Combat Asia to name a few.

In June of 2008, Muhsin Corbbrey went the distance with UFC legend, Nick Diaz in a three round catch weight bout. In that match Diaz outweighed Corbbrey by over 20 pounds.

Although Nick Diaz managed to win in the final seconds of the last round, Corbbrey put on an amazing display of boxing prowess leaving Diaz’s face busted up, bloodied and swollen.

In an April 2014 tournament, Muhsin ‘The Technician’ Corbbrey fought Ultimate Fighter veteran Ran Weathers. Corbbrey dominated Weathers every round with punishing knee strikes, Muay Thai strategy and lightning fast judo throws delivered at what appeared, at will. Muhsin won the fight in the second round by rear naked choke.

It’s important to understand that TUF veteran Ran Weathers scored a first round knockout over the always dangerous and highly regarded, Diego Brandao, another UFC featherweight title contender.

The fact that Corbbrey already holds several “World Champion” titles and earned victories over current UFC title contenders justifies his bid for a contract. But, Corbbrey will not be happy just sitting on the roster. He wants a shot at the UFC featherweight title.

In his closing statements Muhsin commented, “... UFC management needs to hurry up and sign me. I can’t sleep at night because less than worthy athletes are vying for a title belt that rightfully belongs to me.”

Muhsin Corbbrey is asking his fans to visit his Twitter page at www.twitter.com/muhsincorbbrey and type the phrase, “UFCNEEDSCORBBREY”.
