My Fair Dude Movie Launches with Award-Winning Comedy Script

LOS ANGELES - March 4, 2015 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Mar. 4, 2015 – My Fair Dude, which is a hilarious new feature film based on classic Pygmalion and My Fair Lady tales, is set to star Bianca Santos (The DUFF, Ouija, Happyland, The Fosters) and actor, director, Jim Hanks (Robot Chicken, Scrubs, Dexter). Emmy Award-winner Steve Welch (New Girl, Malcolm in the Middle) also developed the project and is directing this modern romantic comedy. Written by Dianna Ippolito, My Fair Dude won “best romantic comedy” script at the 2013 Monaco International Film Festival and is being produced by Ippolito, Yumee Jang (Bandito, The Boost) and Welsh, who is presently working on season four of New Girl starring Zooey Deschanel, Hannah Simone and created by Liz Meriwether. ASC cinematographer Denis Maloney, who has worked on more than 60 feature films, has signed on as the film’s director of photography. Legendary actress and Dancing with the Star’s star Cloris Leachman will also make a cameo appearance as a dance instructor.
