Fatsack Outdoors Adds Former Verizon Executive to Board of Directors

GREENVILLE, S.C. - March 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Fatsack Outdoors Inc, a South Carolina based start-up, has announced that Jack Plating will join the Board of Directors and hold a title of Strategic Advisor to the CEO. Plating, formerly the COO/EVP of Verizon Wireless, brings a background highlighted by expertise in sales, operations, and management.

“This is an opportunity to build something right here in South Carolina,” Plating said. “The management team led by Nick (Rubio), and a plan to integrate an entrenched pastime with contemporary technology presents an opportunity tremendous in size.”

Jack Plating joins Nick Rubio, Harveer Singh, CPA, and Jason Cansler, on the company’s Board of Directors. The Company plans to use Plating as a valuable resource given his experience in maximizing sales and operational productivity.

“As a younger CEO, I want to surround myself with successful and experienced leaders that can help me lead and our company grow,” Rubio said. “When discussions began with Jack (Plating), it quickly became clear that he is a tremendous resource for both myself and this company.”

Prior to working at Verizon, Plating worked in management positions for Motorola and Metro Mobile CTS. Plating retired to the Greenville are in 2009.
