Follow on Google News | Hillside Library Speaking EventBy: Women Auto Know Audra is aware that a lot of women are anxious about auto repair. She believes education is the best way to solve this problem. That’s why she actively engages with her community as often as possible. Audra hopes these workshops will empower women with knowledge that helps them prevent expensive repairs. Attendees will learn how to perform some basic maintenance that can significantly decrease the cost of future repairs. Audra will demystify auto repair by speaking in words that the average woman can relate to. “I love to help women understand that cars aren’t so complicated” Audra has worked on cars since she was twelve years old. She tripled the size of her shop’s customer base within months of taking over by serving the female market. Audra’s reach goes beyond the walls of Great Bear Auto Repair. She is in the process of completing her first Kindle book, which will help women overcome auto anxiety and become confident drivers. These workshops, occurring at 3:00 and 6:45 p.m., are free and open to the public.
