DMG MORI Announces Los Angeles Technology Center Grand Opening: March 23-26, 2015

LOS ANGELES - March 4, 2015 - PRLog -- March 4, 2015 (Los Angeles)– Southern California manufacturers are invited to attend the unveiling of DMG MORI’s new, state-of-the-art Technology Center in Cypress, CA on March 23-26, 2015. The completely remodeled 18,000 sq. ft. facility will showcase 14 high tech exhibits and 7 advanced machines in the new DMG MORI design during this four day event.

Beginning Monday, March 23^th, and ending Thursday, March 26^th, the grand opening will kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony with Dr. Mori (President, MORI SEIKI Co. Ltd.), Mark Mohr (President of DMG MORI SEIKI Americas) and representative from the local government at 11 am on Monday, March 23. Attendees will enjoydaily seminars, an open forum with 5-axis users, daily lunch and evening receptions, refreshments, and the most sought-after machines and expertise in today’s manufacturing. Housing 14 live demonstrations and high-lighting CELOS, the next generation control platform that combines intuitive functionality and streamlined operations, the Cypress Grand Opening offers several opportunities for manufacturers to learn how tomorrow’s technology can improve their business today.

Featuring Student Day: Students from local schools are invited to tour the new facility on Thursday, March 26 for Student Day, where manufacturers can meet the next generation of engineers and start working towards bridging the skills gap.

The DMG MORI Tech Center, 5740 Warland Drive, Cypress, CA 90630, will feature something for everyone; from large-scale manufacturers and small businesses to manufacturing students alike.
