Alno Awarded Kitchen Contract to Furnish Kitchens for ‘400 Sunny Isles’ in Florida

MIAMI - March 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Alno, a leading German kitchen and cabinet furniture manufacturer has secured a multi-million dollar contract to provide high-end kitchens and bath vanities for a new project in Sunny Isles, Florida. The condominium project, 400 Sunny Isles, is owned by Key International Realty and 13^th Floor Investments and will provide residents eco-friendly seaside living with oceanfront views and intracostal access.

The 400 Sunny Isles project, designed by Architect Chad Oppenheim and Architect of Record, Kobi Karp consists of two 20-story glass towers, with a total of 230 units. The developers decided on Alno to offer their clients beautiful, uncompromising and European-made materials. “The decision process to use Alno was fairly easy; using the Alno product gives us peace of mind when it comes to quality,” said Rey Melendi, COO of 13^th Floor Investments, a financial partner, and real estate managers.

Alno created real-life mock-up model displays in its 5,000 s.f. showroom in Miami to ensure the designs met the client’s standards. For the kitchen, the developers selected a very special ultra-white door front for the base cabinets, and an exotic engineered wood for the upper cabinets. State-of-the-art appliances are by Smeg and Liebherr. Cashmere oak, an engineered and extremely durable front was selected for the bathroom vanities.
