Coming soon: Conifer House offering Memory Care and Residential Care living

CORVALLIS, Ore. - March 3, 2015 - PRLog -- After 7 months of construction and renovations, senior adults will soon have a new place to call home. The brand new Conifer House will soon be open to new residents in early April. The new residential and memory care community underwent a $1.5 million dollar renovation to provide state of the art care and amenities to its future residents.

Conifer House features a unique one floor design that will allow residents with mobility issues full access to the community. It is conveniently located off highway 99 and will have 15 residential care units and 32 units catered towards those with Alzheimer’s or memory loss.
What sets the Conifer House apart from other senior facilities is their unique approach to care. The Conifer House community’s “Best Friend” approach helps residents build a stronger connection with the staff and each other.  This method is an activity-based program that is custom designed for each resident. Another way Conifer House cares for its community is by offering Medicaid for those seniors who have spent their personal resources.

The entire community was created to keep each resident as independent and active as possible.  Residents are still supported by 24-hour staff that regularly monitor and assist in daily tasks when needed.
