McCartney Brothers Release First Single To Radio

TORONTO - March 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Brothers, Matt and Mitch McCartney's band Northern Roads have released their first single "Take Your Time," to radio.

Multi-talented brothers, Mitch and Matt McCartney started making music at a very young age. Mitch was the youngest person hired as a music instructor for the City of Toronto. Matt currently plays in the OHL for the Peterborough Petes as a centreman.

The Alternative Folk Rock band from Scarborough, Ontario formed in 2013 and consists of long-time friends Connor Allen (Lead Vocals), Rob Almeida (Guitar, Vocals), Mitch McCartney (Guitar, vocals) and Matt McCartney (Percussion, Guitar, and Vocals). The band’s sound has been influenced by and compared to Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers.

In 2014, the Band was invited to perform at the Boots and Hearts festival at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario.

"Take Your Time" was recorded at Phase One Recording Studio in Toronto and engineered by Dajaun Martineau.

Northern Roads caught the attention of Catherine Faint and Cindy Sutch from CFE Inc., who recently signed Northern Roads to their artist management division.
