Media Entrepreneur Fred Tarter Announces Formation of New Publishing Company, The Reader’s Guild

The Readers Guild will publish both classic titles and new releases in innovative formats.

NEW YORK - March 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Serial entrepreneur and media industry veteran Fred B. Tarter announced today the formation of The Reader’s Guild, a new boutique publishing company that will publish and promote both classic favorites and beloved contemporary titles in a variety of formats for the modern reader. One of primary missions of The Reader’s Guild will be to curate the best content from timeless bestsellers as well as self-published authors, and build anthology series grouped by genre or author.

Today’s readers have access to an overwhelming amount of reading material and often end up consuming “empty calories” instead of quality content that is also enjoyable. The Reader’s Guild will navigate the current climate of available books and select only premium titles for their exclusive anthologies.

“As an avid reader myself, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to find quality reading material among the vast range of available content,” said Fred B. Tarter, President and CEO. “We aim to make that process easier by providing first-rate titles and anthologies, all selected by a panel of proven reviewers and editors, to people who have little time to navigate this broad landscape.”

The Reader’s Guild will publish one-of-a-kind anthologies and books in both trade paperback and hardcover, e-books, and audiobooks for sale at Amazon, iBooks, Barnes & Noble, Google and Kobo, as well as other major retailers.
