NASA Begins Celebrating Century of Innovation, Exploration, and Discovery in Flight and Space

TAMPA, Fla. - March 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Today, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the global aerospace community will commence celebrating the centennial of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), the precursor to NASA – the original government entity that gave it birth.

A very special 100th anniversary publication, titled NACA/NASA: Celebrating a Century of Innovation, Exploration, and Discovery in Flight and Space, has been published just in time for the commencement of the anniversary celebrations.

Faircount Media Group worked with NASA to create a publication that will see wide distribution over the course of the year during special NACA centenary events.

The first event will kick off this morning as the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum and the NASA History Program Office host a special symposium open to the public that commemorates a century of aerospace research and development.
