A Qualified Chartered Chemical Engineer, Allan joined eSight Energy in 2014 with 10 years’ experience in the industry, and heads up the UK eSight Energy Services team. In addition to ESOS guidance and accreditation, the Services team provide a full range of Energy Services from surveys and audits to consultancy, using a well-defined approach based on the ISO 50001 standard. The ESOS scheme is a mandatory assessment for organisations that employ at least 250 persons or have an annual turnover in excess of €50m. Organisations that qualify for the scheme are required to report consumption and a 12 month detailed breakdown of at least 90% of energy use by 5 December 2015. Cost effective energy-saving opportunities must then be identified from the data collected. Allan commented: “The deadline for the first ESOS submission is fast approaching, so we are pleased to be able to offer accredited support to the organisations that qualify. We also look forward to identifying potential energy saving opportunities that will benefit organisations way beyond the obligations of the scheme.” End
