Innovative App Solves Problem of Accountability and Collaborative Documentation in Home Health Care

Traditionally, home health care agencies use paper flow sheets to record patient information.  LMS Live simplifies modern case documentation, facilitates collaboration among caregivers and continues evidence-based education after care is complete.

To ensure privacy and voluntarily comply with HIPAA laws, nurses are only able to access and collaborate on their current cases and cannot update documentation once a shift is closed.  Each morning, the LMS Live app emails parents a detailed report that includes baby’s feeding, diapering and sleep patterns, along with personalized caregiver notes and recommendations.Besides acting as a documentation and communication resource, the LMS Live app also exists as an employee time clock.  Nurses log in and out of their shifts and hours are automatically summited to the payroll department, eliminating the need for multiple emails and written timesheets and ensuring that client billing is reconciled properly.
