ClutchVR aims to change the way people learn to drive

INDIANAPOLIS - March 2, 2015 - PRLog -- ClutchVR is a driving simulator that utilizes virtual reality (VR) headsets, such as the Oculus Rift, in order to provide a life-like training experience. The demo released today includes a basic maneuvering course, and the full release will include courses for parking, interstate driving, inclement weather conditions, and road hazards.

Each course will have customization options that allow the user to choose automatic or manual transmission, change the amount of traffic, or switch between day and night mode.  The expected release date for the full version is November 2015.

The demo is only Windows-compatible, however the full version will also be compatible with Mac computers.  The app works with or without the Oculus Rift, and can be used with a keyboard/mouse, an XBox controller, or the Logitech G27 steering wheel peripheral.
