St. Johns County and SMA’s St. Johns Outpatient Care Center Hold Ribbon Cutting at New Facility

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - March 3, 2015 - PRLog -- St. Johns County and SMA Behavioral Healthcare held a ribbon cutting on Feb. 26^th for their new facility in St. Augustine. SMA shares a building with the St. John’s Health Department in the new facility. Tours of their new offices were also given.

“I’d like to thank all of the SMA staff who worked hard to pull this move together,” said SMA CEO Ivan Cosimi. “From our MIS department orchestrating the complex technical side of the move, to our finance and facilities team ensuring structural and furnishing needs, everyone played key roles,” he added.

The Health Department occupies the first floor of the building, and SMA occupies a 10,387 square foot wing on the second floor. The wing includes a separate waiting area for adults and children, several exam rooms, staff offices, conference rooms for family and group therapy, larger meeting and training rooms, as well as a room that holds free clothing for those in need.

“Our clients are really impressed with the new facility,” said Sandra Jackson, Site Supervisor at SMA in St. Johns. “The move allows us to provide the superior quality service that we are accustomed to providing,” she added.
