VENTURA, Calif. - Feb. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Hospital Procedures Consultants provides the premier Hospital and Emergency Procedures CE courses for all clinicians.  Our procedural expert instructors are full-time attending physicians practicing in the ER, ICU, and hospital wards.  We have been teaching the 20 most common hospital procedures needed to work in the ER, ICU, and hospital wards for over 25 combined years to PAs and NPs in addition to physicians.

We are strong supporters of advanced practice providers working in the ER, ICU, and the hospital wards.  We also firmly believe that hospitals should increase the number of midlevel providers working and performing procedures in these areas.  However, we also believe that procedural competence and patient safety is of utmost importance to hospital administrators.  Our Hospital and Emergency Procedures CME course is endorsed by the AMA, AAFP, AOA, AANP, CFPC and accredited for 21 hours Category 1 CE credit.  The course also qualifies for 16 hours Trauma CME credit for clinicians working at Trauma centers.

This is a fabulous PA procedures course or midlevel procedures course to sharpen your procedural skills in point-of-care ultrasound, RUSH exam, E-FAST exam, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, peripheral IV placement, chest tube placement, needle decompression, basic suturing, intraosseous line (IO line) placement, airway management including LMA placement, King tube placement, endotracheal intubation, Glidescope intubation, and Eschmann-stylet-guided intubations, and ultrasound-guided procedures.

We have four experienced procedural expert instructors at all of our courses and limit the course size to optimize the amount of customized, hands-on procedural skills lab training.  We also have two conference rooms simultaneously with multiple skills labs for every procedure that assures no waiting for hands-on skills lab training.  Our courses are designed for all specialties (physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs), CRNAs, and physicians) and all experience levels.

We customize every participants instruction based on your level of procedural experience.  We routinely teach clinicians how to perform these procedures from scratch, but are always able to hone your procedural skills even if you have been performing a particular procedure for years.

We would like to invite you to one of our courses offered in four different locations in 2015:

Chicago - May 2nd & May 3rd

Vancouver - July 18th & July 19th

Washington D.C. - September 12th & September 13th

Las Vegas - November 8th & November 9th
