NJ All-Star Pro Wrestling Event: 100% of Proceeds to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - Feb. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- CTW Charity Wrestling will present its debut event, “Fight Cystic Fibrosis”, live from the Days Inn Bridgewater on Friday, April 17th , 2015. 100% of the proceeds from the pro wrestling show will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through its Greater New Jersey Chapter. Doors open at 7:15 p.m., and bell time is 8:00 p.m.

The event will feature WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana and former ECW Heavyweight Champions Rhino and Justin Credible in main event matches. WWE Hall of Famer "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka will also be in attendance signing autographs.

The event was conceived of when an area pro wrestler was abruptly forced to put his career on hold due to complications from cystic fibrosis. A team of professional wrestlers and promoters came together out of mutual respect and the drive to raise funds and awareness for the disease in late 2014, and through a network of sponsors, donors and volunteers, the “Fight Cystic Fibrosis” event was created.

“The response from area wrestlers was immediate,” says CTW event coordinator Colin West. “We had so many people volunteer to wrestle at the event we couldn’t book them all. Between the support from wrestlers, area promotions like UWA Elite, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation‘s New Jersey chapter, the event is shaping up to be a real success. We‘re still looking for 1 or 2 area sponsors, but I‘m highly positive we‘ll get that done. It’s a stacked show for a great cause.”

Some of the most notable wrestlers in the TriState area are also confirmed for CTW’s “Fight Cystic Fibrosis” event, including the Garden State Gods (Myke Quest & Eric Corvis), Steve “Monsta” Mack, Joey Janela, 2 Hot Steve Scott, Archadia, Dick Justice, and Scumbag Nation (Rude Boy Riley & Logan Black).

Several local organizations have sponsored the event, including the New West Brook Tavern in Bound Brook. The CTW event will also feature a charity auction, including New York Red Bulls and Somerset Patriots tickets.

Tickets are $20, with 3-packs available for $50. Group rates are available upon request (8 or more guests). Representatives from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Greater New Jersey chapter will be on hand at the event.
