It is important you are aware of all the different options when installing siding and do your research on the product you are considering.  Add a vapour barrier like Tyvek is very important to eliminate future moisture behind your siding which can cause rotting and molding.  Making sure all of your window & door openings by installing metal drip capping abouve all openings.
