New eBook Promotion Business Takes Industry By Storm

DALLAS - Feb. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Amidst the sea of items that has become Amazon's Storefront, self-published authors have been getting lost in the mix. Over 400,000 ebooks were published last year, and it's expected to almost double by 2016. What’s an indie author to do? Enter OMG! EBooks and the EBook Promotion Center.

On February 1, OMG! EBooks and Ebook Promotion Center launched a website that will assist authors and readers alike. Authors submit their books for only $5 to the site to promote their material. Then, readers come to the site and choose a featured, free or discounted ebook. The book covers link directly back to Amazon’s purchase page, so it’s hassle-free all around.

In less than a month, OMG! eBooks has welcomed over 8,000 readers to their website.  Their philosophy: “How can we cater to Authors if we can’t cater to their audience on their behalf?”

They are one of the only ebook marketing and listing companies that offer full-service Amazon Optimization and marketing management for under $500.

Joe Corso’s book Lafitte’s Treasure, has been in the top 100 in his categories since it’s release in July 2014, when one of the owners of OMG! eBooks was working with another publishing firm. Now, it’s rumored that Joe will sign on to work with OMG! exclusively.

On the publishing end, OMG! Ebooks had this to say: “We would love to become a full-fledged digital publishing firm. We love working with Authors and helping them succeed, but like any business or personal goal, we can’t help them if we can’t help ourselves. Our goal is to have the financing and funding to contract with them by the end of this year as publishing partners.”

OMG! eBooks and The EBook Promotion Center is a partnership, run by four women. Amelia Richard, 31, Art Director, Victoria Valastro, 22, SEO and Internet Marketing, Candice Mitchell, 32, Social Media and Optimization, and Jessica Bishop, 29, Amazon Optimization, Business Manager.

With sheer determination and enough enthusiasm to take on the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, the four of them create a family. They don’t go to work for a paycheck, but to enrich their souls.
