Techy was launched on February 25th by Yaffet Meshesha, 20, and Justin Artis, 21, two friends from Waldorf, MD who understood the stress of getting a laptop repaired. “We believe that issues that can be solved within a hour or less should not cost hundreds of dollars.” says Yaffet “We've dealt with computer issues for most of our lives, both with our own computers and with others and have realized that if people are more comfortable coming to us, repairers with no professional experience, instead of your commercial repair shop then there lies a problem.” Currently Techy is based at the home of Yaffet Meshesha but hopes to set its headquarters in the DC area in the near future.
