Loc Hair Expert Welcomes Dialogue with “Fashion Police” host Giuliana Rancic on Loc Hairstyles

LOS ANGELES - Feb. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- In light of the controversy brought on by "Fashion Police" host Giuliana Rancic, criticizing 18-year-old actress Zendaya Coleman for having her long hair in dreadlocks, saying "I feel like she smells like patchouli oil and weed," Loctician and author of "Loc Life: Lifestyles of the Loc'd and Lovely, Linita Dawkins Butler is challenging us to broaden our consideration of beauty.

"Zendaya is obviously very bold, and on the cutting edge of her craft. No one has the right to define us. It is unfortunate that the stereotypical comments that are negative and derogatory to afrocentric culture still abound today. Linita is the owner of LovelyLocs Salon in Moreno Valley, California and founder of LovelyLocs Natural Hair Care Products. This line of natural hair care products are designed to keep Loc's conditioned, well groomed and moisturized without excess products.

"I believe comments such as those made by Mrs. Rancic are a result of lack of knowledge.
