Pcdata SmartGlass Augmented Reality Finalist for 2015 MHI Innovation Award

Feb. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Pcdata USA’s SmartGlass Augmented Reality is a finalist for the 2015 MHI Innovation Award for best new product. SmartGlass/Distrib AR is the latest product addition to Pcdata's portfolio of picking solutions for the order fulfillment industry. The SmartGlass is fully integrated in its Distrib XE suite, offering the functionalities improving existing order fulfillment processes. The Distrib AR module is based on Augmented Reality (AR) when used with the Smart Glasses. SmartGlass AR is a first-of-its kind solution to provide a simplified and efficient method for order fulfillment.

In total, there were 94 submissions and a panel of judges made up of industry end users, academia, and consultants reviewed all submissions. There will be dedicated Innovation Award area in the main concourse of McCormick Place during ProMat 2015 where all of the submissions will be available for show attendees to view.  In addition, all award submissions will be published in the Q2 issue of MHISolutions magazine, debuting at ProMat 2015. The award winners will be announced at the MHI 70th Anniversary Celebration with Frank Caliendo on March 25.
