Newport Jazz Festival Flex Tickets No Longer Available After March 1

NEWPORT, R.I. - Feb. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- The countdown is on for purchasing flexible discount tickets for the Newport Jazz Festival® presented by Natixis Global Asset Management. Priced at just $55, Flex Tickets can be used for adult general admission for concerts at Fort Adams State Park July 31 – August 2, 2015.* But, hurry, beginning on Monday, March 2, tickets will be available for the regular price of $74.00.

With a Flex ticket, there is no need for fans to decide now which day to attend. The offer is not valid on reserved seats, or for the Friday evening concert at the International Tennis Hall of Fame at the Newport Casino.

“As the sun is getting higher and the days are getting longer, I'm sure people are beginning to think about plans for the summer, ” said George Wein, Chairman of the Newport Festivals Foundation™ and producer of the Jazz festival since it began in 1954. “I’m looking forward to seeing old friends and new fans on the weekend of July 31 - August 2 at the 61st Newport Jazz Festival. I'm biased, but I can't think of a better place to be that weekend.”

Special $20 Student tickets are still available. High school students older than 15 and college students with valid ID must use the Student Gate and present valid ID to enter the festival. Students without valid ID will be directed to the Box Office to pay the difference of a general admission ticket. Flex tickets for Children ages 3 – 15 are $15.00.
