Wedding Wednesday Cocktail Party™ Hosts First 2015 Party at The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina

VALLEJO, Calif. - Feb. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Laurel, MD - Black Bag Productions, based in Laurel, MD is proud to announce a collaboration with Inspirations by Gina and All Things Simple to host its first Wedding Wednesday Cocktail Party™ of 2015 on Wednesday, April 8 at 6:00pm at The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina in Vallejo, California. “Selecting the right location and theme to kick off the third year of Wedding Wednesday Cocktail Party™ was a key factor for us, and, Gina Lett and Tamiko Garner have been phenomenal to help us bring the party to the west coast,” notes Kim Moss, owner of Black Bag Productions. “We are thrilled to have them as our first host location for 2015 and outside the Washington DC area.”

The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina will showcase their venue and offer a sampling of reception and cocktail hour fare from their menu that will give attendees ideas for their wedding reception and wedding related events.  Brides have an excellent opportunity during the party to get special deals and gifts from the participating vendors only available at the event. Lett, Garner and Moss are all certified wedding planners and agree that the Wedding Wednesday Cocktail Party™ concept is a better way for brides and vendors to connect, noting “the plan that we have developed is a more relaxed atmosphere, food tasting, cocktails, prizes and wedding planning with wedding professionals that are not out to gouge their prospective clients.” Moss who created and developed the party with fellow certified wedding planner Marie Crawford of Marie Crawford's Bridal as a way to market Crawford's boutique in 2012 and has grown in size and host locations over the past two years. They went on to say that, “the Wedding Wednesday Cocktail Party™ aims to change the paradigm by offering brides the opportunity to plan, taste, drink, shop and genuinely have fun while planning. The invited vendors have the opportunity to chat with prospective clients in a more relaxed setting and not give a hard sell, canned presentation and they genuinely have fun too since they don’t bring the whole store with them, only their portfolio and maybe a few other promotional items.  The tag line of Simple. Relaxing, Fun, was what we envisioned brides and vendors being able to do at the event. In 2013 and 2014, parties were successful with more vendors contacting us each week and asking how they can join the fun and the grooms who attend are not looking like they wish they were somewhere else, anywhere else!" says Crawford. Notes Moss, 'we hope that the west coast party is the first of many nationwide parties and can't wait to host a party in southern California too."
