Tim Myers from Tyco Security Products guides viewers through what to consider when planning a home security system on February 27 on Lifetime

(Pompano Beach, FL – PR LOG – February 25, 2015) Award-winning home improvement show Designing Spaces® will feature Tyco Security Products on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 7:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on Lifetime to discuss home automation and the most important things to consider when choosing a home security system.

During the segment, “Peace of Mind – What to Consider When Planning Your Home Security System”, the Designing Spaces team meets up with Tim Myers from Tyco Security Products and a couple who just moved into their home in Cape Coral, Fla. Myers will walk through the home with the couple room by room to introduce their new DSC home security system and the full suite of capabilities, which includes intrusion alarm and fire alarm monitoring and the ability to remotely view video surveillance cameras placed around the home from a smart phone or tablet.

Viewers will learn about the easy-to-use features that protect what matters most including arming and disarming the system, motion detector sensors and how they work, and the importance of professional installation and monitoring.
