PRLog -- While all students studying science and entering the annual Science Fair win from the experience there was much to be proud of in the Branson School when the fair was complete and the winners were named. Their students placed in the following categories Botony, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Mathmatics & Computer Science, Medical and Health, Physics, and Zoology. Overall the district students took home 9 first place positions 5 second places, and 6 thrid place wins for a total of 20 students placing in the 2015 Science Fair. It is impressive the strong showing in the elementary levels and given that, we could expect continued interest and demonstration of capability from these inquiring youth. They have learned a great deal in each of the topics that they chose to enter projects in but more importantly they have been bitten by the science bug and will explore, develop their own hypothesis and test them to determine and share conclusions. Mr, Brad Caldwell, Principal of the Branson School and Superintendent of Branson School District Re joins the Branson School Board in giving a proud shout out to all those who participated and represented themselves, their school and their district at the Science Fair. One can see Mr. Caldwell beaming as one of his areas of interest and expertise is Science having taught that subject for a good part of his career in education. Creating the environment for exploration, testing, and demonstrating learning is what Mr. Caldwell prides himself in and this years Science Fair participants proves it cultivates the desire and determination in the students he and his staff proudly support.
