2015 Stock Market 101 On-Campus Series at The Claremont Colleges (Presented by StockSessions)

Open to students, faculty, and staff at Pomona, Claremont McKenna, Scripps, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, and Claremont Graduate University.
 
CLAREMONT, Calif. - Feb. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- This spring semester, our Stock Market for Beginners On-Campus Tour begins at the 5 Claremont Colleges (5C’s) campuses as well as Claremont Graduate University!

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend each of our live events taught by top stock market experts from CNBC, world class analysts, strategists, authors, and even stock exchange board members.  These events are open to high school and college students from surrounding Los Angeles, Orange County, and Riverside areas as well.

None of the classes will require any prior knowledge or experience with finance or investing.  Events in this series are designed to provide step-by-step instructions for any beginner to become confident at managing their own money.

Events will include meet and greet lunches, dinners, as well as Q&A sessions with the instructors.

Description: Want to learn the basics of investing and trading stocks for income? Scripps Women in Finance Accounting and Consulting (FAC) is partnering with Jeffrey Lin (HMC ’05) of StockSessions.com to organize on-campus seminars on practical investing skills. This seminar will teach you how to research & analyze opportunities, plan low-risk strategies for each trade, and know when to buy and sell–skills you can use even while balancing work and/or school. No prior experience/knowledge is necessary!

Instructor: Corey Rosenbloom, CMT (Chartered Market Technician).  Founder and president of Afraid to Trade http://afraidtotrade.com/, which details trading strategy for the public. Mr. Rosenbloom regularly contributes to TradeStation’s “Morning Market Briefing” and is a speaker at MoneyShow financial conferences. He is also the author of “The Complete Trading Course: Price Patterns, Strategies, Setups, and Execution Tactics”. Mr. Rosenbloom will also share about his career path, with a brief Q/A following the session.
