TRI Announces Establishment of Houston Global Trade Office and Relocation of Mr. Waheeb R. Malik

TRInternational, Inc. (TRI Chemicals), a global chemical distributor, announced today the establishment of their new Global Trading Office in Houston, TX and the move of Mr. Waheeb R. Malik from Dubai to the US.

Mr. Waheeb R. Malik, TRI’s Commercial Manager of Global Exports & Trade, made the long journey and most significant move of his life and career from Dubai, UAE to Houston, TX on February 4^th to formally open the new TRI Houston office. Mr. Malik says “It has been an incredible journey working with TRI since 2009. I’m proud to have been given this opportunity to work in the “mecca” of chemical world during a time of need and directional shift in the industry. We are excited to take on the new challenge and serve our partners effectively.”

Both the move for Mr. Malik and the addition of the new Houston location will support TRI continued focus on the strategic growth of their international market while developing strong relationships with local US manufacturers and producers. This creates the ability for Mr. Malik to work closely with both TRI’s Regional Sales Managers and Purchasing Team to develop new distribution opportunities, build existing business and expand TRI’s global each in the chemical marketplace.
