Power Wall Systems installs first dual rotor VAWT pylon Sign

Feb. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Dallas, TX:   Power Wall Systems installed the first dual rotor vertical axis wind turbine.  The sign has two 500 watt wind turbine generators integrated into both sides of the pylon sign cabinet.  The wind turbines are not used to power the sign directly, but the power is sent back to the location to offset their usage.

Keith Tully, President and Owner of Power Wall Systems, LLC,  said the combined wind turbines and sign are better than a traditional sign alone.  “Yes, with the immediate Federal Tax Credits, the combined wind turbines and sign are less expensive than the same sized traditional pylon sign, and yes the sign will generate free power.  But we feel strongly that our wind turbine signs function better as signage than a traditional sign.”   “ Peoples' eyes are drawn to light, color, contrast and movement.   With the added element of movement, our pylon signs add that fourth level of interest to get your brand image noticed over your completion.   In addition, we have had cities allow variances for larger signs and taller signs simply because of the green energy aspect of our signage.“

Bigger and taller signs that get noticed more often for less money?  Sounds too good to be true.    But Mr. Tully insists that is the case.  “People have a hard time grasping the concept, but once they see a location, they immediately understand the added benefits.”  “Our technology is one of the first to align a need for greener energy systems and the need to drive immediate savings to the bottom line”.  More information can be found at http://www.powerwallsystems.net.
