Mary-Ann Baldwin is Saint Mary's School's Career Day 2015 Keynote Speaker

RALEIGH, N.C. - Feb. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Raleigh city councilor Mary-Ann Baldwin is the keynote speaker for Career Day at Saint Mary’s School, Friday, February 27, 2015. The keynote speech is scheduled for 8:30-9:15 a.m. in Pittman Auditorium, kicking off an exciting day for Saint Mary’s students.

Ms. Baldwin is the vice president of marketing and business development for Holt Brothers Construction and executive director of the Holt Brothers Foundation. She is in her fourth term on the Raleigh City Council. She serves as the city’s representative to Triangle Transit, and she chairs the city’s law and public safety committee. She is co-founder of “Innovate Raleigh,” an initiative that promotes entrepreneurship and innovation in the region.

Following Ms. Baldwin’s presentation, students will spend the day participating in workshops about career choices and goals and attending panel discussions with professionals in a wide variety of careers including law, medicine, publishing, science, non-profits, law enforcement, business and more. The theme of this year’s Career Day is “My Journey, My Legacy.” Career Day is part of Saint Mary’s School’s signature COMPASS Leadership Development Program.
