Jazz Singer Leigh Fitzjames Appears on the GingerNewYork TV Show, New York City

NEW YORK - Feb. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Leigh Fitzjames: is a mixed race actor, singer and writer from New Zealand who now lives in New York. Credits range from touring her one woman comedy show "Love and Light" through North America, creating comedy series Con Artistes, singing at Splore Festival with her jazz duo J&L Jazz and dancing in Miss Saigon.

As a writer, Leigh Fitzjames has had four stage plays produced (Love and Light, Formalities, Don't Laugh, Send me a Message), online sketch comedies, multiple collaborations with musicians and has performed spoken word at prestigious stages such as The Bowery Poetry Club and Le Poisson Rouge. She often engages as a co-director to help realize her physically demanding stage directions and integrates dance and movement into her work at any opportunity. Add to that list 5 years of coaching Basketball, freelancing in film production work and sometimes teaching yoga...you'll see she loves to lead teams!

After a year of shooting films and making music throughout India and Thailand, Leigh is happily "home" in NYC working on indie film productions and music collaborations with local producers, while shedding away at jazz jams.

Ms. Broderick appeared regularly for eight years on weekend morning financial segments for WABC Eyewitness News. She has appeared on Good Day New York, WNBC, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business News, Bloomberg, NY1 and WOR Radio discussing tax-related issues. She has interviewed with top financial publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Wealth Manager.

Ms. Broderick completed her TV Producer’s Certification at Manhattan Neighborhood Network and launched her own talk/variety show, GingerNewYork. Segments of the show are aired LIVE at the MNN studios and taped at the Gibson Guitar showroom/Rehearsal Studios in New York City.

Broderick is a faculty member of Queens College/CUNY Continuing Education Program. Broderick obtained a B.S. degree in accounting from St. John’s University in New York City and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York.
