The Undress Fulfills Kickstarter Pledges, Pre-Orders to Change in Public Without Getting Naked

Shipments to Kickstarter backers and November pre-order customers have begun with supporters already receiving their Undress as of Feb. 14.

More than 8,000 Undresses were made-to-order for more than 7,300 backers who supported The Undress Kickstarter campaign, Sept. 22-Nov. 1 and pre-ordered it Nov 1-14, 2014. The Undress is committed to giving active, on-the-go women the freedom to change clothes in public, without ever getting naked.

"It’s amazing to see the finished dresses come off the assembly line and to hold the very first ones created, knowing that The Undress will be so valuable for active women," said April Estrada, co-founder of The Undress. To share in the excitement, The Undress team is asking its supporters to get their cameras ready to share pictures and videos via social media with the hashtag #theundress. As the first recipients of this revolutionary dress, supporters are encouraged to film their reaction upon receiving and opening their packages and show how they’re using The Undress in real life. All supporters will receive a link to a video detailing a step-by-step process of how to use The Undress, all of its functions and tips.

“I really value the ‘me-time’ that running and working out allows me to have. I’m always going from work to exercise to errands,” said Anne Fitzgerald, a San Diego resident who purchased two Undresses in different colors. “I had no idea how much I needed something like The Undress until I saw it and tried it out at one of their Kickstarter events. I love it! The Undress is really going to save me time and give me that peace of mind changing while I’m out and about.”

It’s available in eight different sizes, Petite through Plus and in three different colors, blue, black and grey. The Undress team  also just released a new line of colors: dark purple, deep red and emerald.
