In addition to primary and revision total hip and knee procedures, Dr. Hilton treats a wide variety of fractures along with sports and work related injuries. He utilizes arthroscopic techniques for knee arthroscopy, meniscal repair, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, shoulder arthroscopy, and rotator cuff repairs. Dr. Hilton is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon whose training included a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Rush University and residency at University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed medical school at Loyola University and earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University. Dr. Hilton believes in utilizing non-operative treatment options whenever possible. He believes it is vital to develop a close relationship with each patient in order to understand their current limitations and goals of treatment. A doctor-patient relationship where the patient has confidence and trust in the treatment plan is extremely important to him. As a former captain for the Duke cross country and track teams, Dr. Hilton retains his passion for running. He also enjoys working with computers.
