BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Feb. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- One of this year’s most prestigious Academy Award viewing parties, now in its 16th year, will be held on the grounds of the historic Warner Estate in Beverly Hills.  Every year, Daphna Ziman, co-founder of Children Uniting Nations has opened her home and her heart to create a celebration and fundraiser to support and bring awareness to at-risk children living in foster care.

This Academy Viewing Party has become a tradition, and is known as one of the most popular celebrations of the Awards season.  Every year, the organization honors supporters who have shown compassion and commitment to improving the lives of these very vulnerable children. The Black Tie Dinner Soiree will bring together, politicians, celebrities, those in education, medicine and business who care about the future of our children.  The number of youth in foster care continues to increase and the need for mentors and funding is increasing at an alarming rate.  Daphna Ziman realized early on the plight of these children and works tirelessly to address their needs.  "After I fought in the courts for the life of a little girl, whom I have since adopted, I wanted to find a way to involve our government, our corporations and the United Nations in a concerted effort on behalf of our most vulnerable children. It also became clear to me that it is children who have the power in their hands to unite the people of the world."

Children Uniting Nations, welcomes those who wish to contribute to this cause and to come out to support the organization.  The Gala is a fun and glamorous way to help bring recognition to the many children in foster care who benefit from the Mentor Program. It is also an opportunity to sit amongst prominent members of the entertainment community while dining on the elaborate cuisine prepared by one of Hollywood’s most renowned chefs.

There will be an After Party Celebration following dinner with live performances by Stephen Bishop, recording artist and Grammy nominee;Skip Martin; BLUSH, prodigies of Quincy Jones; Mighty Mo Rodgers; and recording artist Shanice whose hit single “I Love Your Smile” was in the top ten of the Billboard charts.
