WAYNE, N.J. - Feb. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Beginning February 24th, each Tuesday, Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Wayne, NJ 07470-3404, will be hosting a Lenten Program, animated by Fr. Michael Davitti, SX, entitled “From Fear to Love” which will continue each Tuesday until March 24th at 7:30pm in the Parish Center.

We are invited to a journey to Easter exploring RCIA themes. Following the catechumenal path, these reflections will help us to appreciate how our life is "marked", “branded by the fire of the Holy Spirit” which cries in the depth of our heart, Gal. 4:6.

Lent is a journey done in joy, because: “the joy of the Gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus. Ours is not a joy born of having many possessions, but of having encountered a Person: Jesus, in our midst.” Evangelii Gaudium

In Lent we celebrate our personal "Passover":

•from fear to love,

•from loneliness to life in community.

•from blindness to sight, and

•from death to life in Christ.

“These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete.” 1 Jn. 1:4
