Project 150 Community Call-To-Action for Formal Wear Donations for FREE Teen Shopping Day

LAS VEGAS - Feb. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- WHAT:

Project 150 is in need of new or gently used prom or formal dresses, suits, shoes, ties, purses, and accessories for both young men and women with a critical need for plus size dresses, dress clothes for young men and jewelry.  Other items needed for the FREE TEEN shopping day include, makeup, makeup brushes, hair products, and hair irons.  The clothing items will be distributed to local high school students who wish to attend prom but who cannot afford the expense at an upcoming FREE TEEN shopping day to be held on Saturday March 14^th.  The event will be hosted at the Zappos.com Plaza in Downtown Las Vegas.

The shopping day is a boutique style shopping day for local high school students. High school students are invited to shop forFREE when they present their student ID for fashionable new and gently used clothing for Prom.

Collection drive is ongoing until March 13^th, 2015.
Shopping day event will be held on Saturday March 14^th, 2015

Donations can be delivered to the Project 150 Volunteer & Distribution Center, 6211 Dean Martin Drive, LV NV 89118

About Project 150:   Project 150 is a non-profit charitable organization founded in December 2011 by two Nevada Natives, Don Purdue and Patrick Spargur, both graduates of Clark HS, who heard of 150 homeless students at Rancho High School. Since then, Project 150 provides food, clothing, school supplies, sports equipment, shoes, and other special requests to over 1,900 homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students.  Project 150’s goal is to collaborate with schools and community organizations to maximize resources and allow students to focus in achieving graduation.  Project 150 currently serves over 1,900 homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged students at 37 high schools in Southern Nevada and five in Reno.
