SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. - Feb. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- San Clemente, Calif.—The creator of Postcards from Gusto and author of Living with Gusto announced today the launch of a new website, The Gusto Café. The website is a multi-sensory exploration of what it means to live with gusto.

The Gusto Café offers inspiring and motivating messages, and even daily specials for visitors. There are hundreds of pages of notes, stories, and “shots of gusto wisdom.” The café also offers an area for followers to interact and share their own personal stories.

After writing nearly 1,500 daily messages on the Postcards from Gusto website, the San Clemente resident had a vision for expanding the offerings and went on hiatus from writing the postcards. For two months, she taught herself graphic imaging programs and designed a virtual café from scratch.

“Readers of Living with Gusto and followers of the Postcards were a bit shocked to hear that I would no longer be sending the postcards,” Elizabeth Day said. “However, they had no idea that I was building a place for them to hang out any time they wanted. I love to surprise my fans.”

Living with Gusto, a finalist for the National Indie Excellence Award, was launched in October 2013 and is available in paperback ($11.95) and Kindle versions ($6.99). The novel has more than a hundred customer reviews on Amazon, and the vast majority are five-star reviews. Kaya McLaren, author of How I Came to Sparkle Again, says Living with Gusto is “encouraging and hopeful. A gentle road map to happiness.”

“The Gusto Café has been my dream for years,” Day added. “I’m thrilled to share this part of me with the Gusto community.”

A graduate of Boston College and DePaul University, Elizabeth Day taught English in Los Angeles and Chicago as a member of Teach For America. A book editor for the past fifteen years, she lives with her husband and two children in San Clemente, California.
