Jax Federal Credit Union Sponsorship for Unity Plaza

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Feb. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- Unity Plaza and Jax Federal Credit Union are honored to announce the sponsorship of the UP commUNITY Center located at the new urban park and amphitheater. This rentable community education room is located inside the newly constructed 220 Riverside Avenue location, in the historic Brooklyn neighborhood of Jacksonville. Jax Federal Credit Union will also teach free financial health classes in the center in order to provide money management mentoring to all interested in sharpening their skills.

Jax Federal Credit Union’s sponsorship demonstrates their deep commitment to our Jacksonville community, and endorses Unity Plaza’s vision to unify and uplift Jacksonville through free daily, weekly, monthly and annual activities. When not being rented by corporations and individuals, the UP commUNITY Center will feature over one hundred classes, workshops and events each month celebrating our diversity within the themes of arts and culture, mind and body wellness and community history and education. On April 1, 2015, Unity Plaza begins their full 365-days of programming, with classes specifically supporting the veteran, senior, emerging leader, parent and child populations of Jacksonville.
