The first Health Freedom Summit 2015 will be held in Naples, FL this weekend. This free event promotes self-reliance, which includes growing and eating healthy organic food, avoiding GMOs and holistic health. During the event, leading authorities from all over the US will share their knowledge, wisdom and solutions concerning healthy food, how to grow it, the value of organics, why it is important to identify and avoid GMO foods, as well as mind, body and spirit topics.

The weekend will feature 23 speakers, some nationally renowned, numerous vendors, two panel discussions and even a world premier staged reading of an original play called “A Tale of Two Agricultures,” according to event organizer,   Michael Monteleone, Senior Buyer for Food & Thought, who conceived of and is spearheading the Summit.

Jeffrey Smith, national leader in the fight against GMOs, and author of Seeds of Deception: Exposing Industry and Government Lies about the Safety of the Genetically Engineered Foods You’re Eating, will head the list of presenters.  “Thanks to his trailblazing and intrepid courage, millions have chosen to adopt a healthier non--GMO diet,” Monteleone points out.

Radio personality Robert Scott Bell will be a featured speaker throughout the weekend.  He is known as “the voice of health freedom and healing liberty!” and is broadcast at NaturalNews.com. He will broadcast live from The Health Freedom Summit on Sunday.

Mike Adams, founder of NaturalNews.com, the world’s number one health website boasting seven million unique visitors a month, will appear at the event Saturday via Skype. Dr. Memhet Oz, when Mike appeared on the show, said “Mike Adams is not afraid to take on controversy. buck conventional medical wisdom nor lead a revolution when it comes to your health...”

Other featured speakers include Sayer Ji, a widely recognized researcher, author, and lecturer, an advisory board member of the National Health Federation, and the founder of the world’s most widely referenced, evidence-based natural health resource of its kind. He founded Greenmedinfo.com in 2008 in order to provide the world an open access, evidence-based resource supporting natural and integrative modalities.

Vaishali, veteran radio personality on Contact Talk Radio, and faculty member of the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY as well as the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA, will speak on the therapeutic value of internal organ massage and “You Are What You Love,” She is the author of three books include Wisdom Rising and You Are What You Love.

The Health Freedom Summit 2015 is being put on by Naples’ premier 100% organic grocery, café, juice bar and clothing store – Food & Thought and Thoughtful Threads.  Food & Thought is located in The Gateway of Naples plaza which is at the SE corner of Tamiami Trail North and Golden Gate Parkway.

Christopher  Macklin Ministries of Branson, Missouri, is the event sponsor.   Macklin, an internationally renowned healer, speaker and author, will present at the event at 4:30 pm Saturday on the main stage.  The main stage is located in the auditorium inside Naples High School which is located behind Food and Thought.  It’s an easy eight minute walk from Food & Thought. The best entrance to use is the one on 22nd street next to the tennis courts; the auditorium is right inside that entrance.

According to Monteleone, the purpose of the Health Freedom Summit 2015 is to empower people by exposing them to information and ideas that will enable them to make decisions about the validity of a wide range of food-related issues that impacts each of our lives in very significant ways.  “It is a consciousness building event – at least that is our intent.  We want people to be fully aware of what is going on, but also uplifted and empowered to make changes where needed.”

“The weekend events, all of which are 100% free of charge, will be filled with informative, stimulating and courageous ideas and approaches,” Monteleone the event organizer who donated his time and energy to put this weekend together, explains.

Events begin Friday evening at 6 pm and concludes Sunday at 5 pm.  Vendors will be in the Food & Thought and Thoughtful Threads courtyard across from the Marshall’s’ and Publix’s  shopping center on 41N and across Golden Gate Parkway to the north from Coastland Mall.  The main stage will be at Naples High school auditorium that can easily be accessed by parking near the tennis courts on 22nd street in Naples.  The auditorium is right inside this entrance.  The second stage will be inside the Nirvana Mattress store which is located in the plaza with Food & Thought.

Food and Thought will be open throughout the Health Freedom Summit event hours for those who wish to shop and eat, even though they are normally closed on Sundays.
