Invites you to attend the “Afternoon of African American Culture for Children” Program

The Boston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. would like to invite children ages 4 to 12 to the annual “Afternoon of African American Culture for Children” program. The theme for the event, “Calling all Women—Phenomenal Women: A tribute to Ruby Dee and Dr. Maya Angelou” is designed to immerse children with African American history and culture via dance, stepping, spoken word, and song. The event will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the Mattapan Square Public Library, 1350 Blue Hill Ave, Boston, MA.

This year’s AAACC will feature:

·         The Judah and Zion Youth Dance Ministry from Morning Star Baptist Church

·         Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School Step Team

·         Sentidra Joseph, a Boston African American National Historic Site Park Ranger

·         ToRena Webb, a storyteller

We truly hope you will join us, for this FREE event, as will continue to celebrate African American history and culture throughout the year!
