Phillips Staffing’s Kristina Simmerman Joins Pickens Area SHRM Board in South Carolina

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Feb. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- South Carolina human resources professional Kristina Simmerman of Phillips Staffing, one of South Carolina’s largest and fastest-growing staffing and human capital solution providers, has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Pickens Area Society of Human Resource Management (PASHRM) as a Member At Large.

PASHRM serves Easley and Pickens County area human resource professionals, and provides education and information services, conferences and seminars, government and media representation, and publications that equip HR professionals to become leaders and decision-makers within their organizations.

As a Director of the PASHRM chapter, Ms. Simmerman will support Board efforts to provide an exchange of ideas, experiences, methods, professional development and other matters of interest concerning HR management to PASHRM members.  Included among her duties will be considering membership applications, voting on a variety of topics, assisting with membership drives, and assisting in other various capacities as required.

A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and current resident of Liberty, Ms. Simmerman joined Phillips in 2000 as a Customer Service Representative and was promoted to Easley Branch Manager in 2006.  She has nearly two decades of experience in staff development and training, administrative support, customer service and sales, and talent recruitment and management.  Ms. Simmerman is also an Advisory Board Member for the Pickens County Career and Technology Center.

As Easley Branch Manager, Ms. Simmerman works with new and existing clients across the region to provide staffing and human capital solutions that lead to increased growth and success for those clients.  She focuses her time working with businesses and organizations seeking talent primarily in the areas of light industrial, logistics and distribution, accounting, finance, office management and construction.
