"YOUR MAIN THING" by Jill Pangallo launches!

Hilarious new web series offers a fresh critique of celebrity self-help culture.

NEW YORK - Feb. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- What would it look like if The Comeback, Celebrity Rehab, and Oprah’s Lifeclass gave birth to a Xanax-addicted love child? Enter YOUR MAIN THING, the latest creation from award-winning multidisciplinary artist Jill Pangallo.

Starring comedian John Early and an incredible cast of stars from NYC downtown’s cabaret, comedy, theatre, and nightlife scenes, YOUR MAIN THING centers around ex-child star, Shayne McGrath (Early) as his manager Kat Jacobs’(Pangallo) makes a desperate attempt to give him an image makeover as a self-help expert. Jacobs pulls together seven of Shayne’s dedicated fans (played by Samantha Fontana, David Ilku, Andrew MacLarty, Erin Markey, Amber Martin, Aparna Nancherla, and Shane O’Neill), for a weekend retreat complete with workshops, surprise reunions, one-on-one counseling sessions, and an unforgettable talent show.  The result is a brilliant and delightfully funny look at celebrity, fan culture, and our own efforts to live meaningful lives.
